Structural fiberboard conforming to the ASTM C208 product standard has been recognized in the model building codes as an acceptable wall bracing material for many years.
That’s why it’s significant that QuietBrace has been third-party certified by the American Fiberboard Association (AFA) to comply with ASTM C208. In addition, ICC Evaluation Service, Inc. has evaluated and recognized this compliance in their ESR-1519 Report available for review here.
