Gypsum boards should be carried, never dragged, to prevent damaging ends and edges. Boards should be stored lying flat and neatly stacked. They should be covered to keep their surface clean and never stored in or near standing water. Care should be taken to prevent sagging or damage to edges, ends and surfaces. Leaning boards against framing is not recommended.
