It was designed to provide the highest level of mold and moisture protection combined with an exceptionally high percentage of recycled content. Ideal for the construction of a range of wall, ceiling and decorative accent structures in both residential and commercial applications, it sets a whole new standard of performance and environmental value.

Installation:

Before installing GreenGlass gypsum interior board, read cautions regarding handling and required hygiene.

GreenGlass must be installed in accordance with ASTM C840 and/or Gypsum Association publication GA 216. Installation in non fire-rated applications is very similar to standard paper-faced products.

For fire-rated installations, refer to the Gypsum Association Fire Resistance Design Manual (3 megs) and/or UL Fire Resistance Directory.

Framing: The minimum width of wood framing members shall be 1 1⁄2". The minimum width of metal framing members shall be 1 1⁄4". Framing members shall not vary more than 1⁄8" from the plane of the faces of adjacent framing.

Fasteners: Drive fasteners flush with the surface of the panel. Do not countersink fasteners. All fasteners must penetrate into the framing member. Locate fasteners a minimum of 3⁄8" from the edges and ends of the panel. Use either nails or screws to attach GreenGlass interior board to framing members.
