Regular gypsum board contains a minimum of 97% recycled content. This consists of at least 93% pre-consumer recycled and 4% post-consumer recycled material on a dry-weight basis. Specialty gypsum board contains a minimum of 93% recycled content. This consists of at least 90% pre-consumer recycled and 3% post-consumer recycled material on a dry-weight basis.

GreenGlass sheathing, liner panels, interior board and tile backer contains a minimum of 90% pre-consumer recycled gypsum content on a dry-weight basis.

Regular gypsum board contains 23% recycled content. This consists of at least 18% pre-consumer recycled and 5% post-consumer recycled material on a dry-weight basis. Specialty gypsum board contains at least 21% recycled content. This consists of at least 18% pre-consumer recycled and 3% post-consumer recycled material on a dry-weight basis.

All gypsum board environmental claims are in accordance to strict ISO 14021 standards. The recycled content levels of gypsum board products produced in our Cumberland City and West Memphis facilities are third-party certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS).
