Span24 is a 1/2" gypsum board specifically designed to maintain exceptional flatness on ceilings framed 24" o.c. Thinner and lighter than traditional 5/8" panels, it’s also easier to handle and more cost efficient. Stronger than regular 1/2" gypsum, it surpassed the standards for 5/8" material in ASTM sag tests conducted at 90° Fahrenheit and 90% humidity.

Span24 ceiling board panels are manufactured to comply with Federal Specification SS-L-30D, Type III, Grade R, Class 1 and ASTM C840 and ASTM GA216.
Span24 is third-party certified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL).
