Water-Resistant Gypsum Board

Water-Resistant Gypsum Board

Covered with a water-repellent green face paper, Temple-Inland water-resistant gypsum board is an excellent wall and ceiling construction material for high humidity areas. It may also be used as a base for the application of ceramic tile or other types of adhesively applied wall panels in most circumstances.* Installed and finished like regular gypsum board when not covered by decorative wall panels, it provides a perfect blend of convenience, performance and durability.

*Limitations: Should not be used as a tile backer in tub and shower surrounds or in areas with a risk of continuous exposure to water such as swimming pool enclosures, steam rooms or gang shower rooms.

Recycled Content:

Temple-Inland water-resistant gypsum board manufactured in West Memphis, Arkansas, and Cumberland City, Tennessee, has been certified by SCS Global Services (SCS) in accordance to ISO 14021 standards to contain a minimum of 93% recycled material on a dry-weight basis. This consists of at least 90% pre-consumer recycled content and 3% post-consumer recycled content.
