We have five mills in the heart of southern pine country in Texas, Louisiana and Georgia. These mills produce a wide variety of solid wood products from trees harvested in our own forest and from the land of private landowners.
To get the most value from every tree, computer scanners are used to "read" each log to determine the best cutting profile for the most yield. Next, wood is dried using a computer-controlled kiln to achieve the correct moisture content. Finally, fully-conditioned product is graded to meet the highest standards possible – the Southern Pine Inspection Bureau and ours.
