The Bureau Veritas certifies that Temple-Inland has implemented an FSC® wood products control system according to the Forest Stewardship Council certification system to manufacture particleboard using FSC recycled and FSC controlled wood inputs. Systems in place at Temple-Inland's Monroeville, Alabama, Hope, Arkansas, Thomson, Georgia, and Diboll, Texas, facilities have been assessed and found to conform to the requirements of:
- FSC CoC Multisite Certification, Ref.: FSC-STD-40-003, v. 1.0
- FSC Chain of Custody Standard, Ref.: FSC-STD-40-004, v. 2.0
- FSC CoC Controlled Wood Standard, Ref.: FSC-STD-40-005, v. 2.1
- FSC CoD Sourcing Reclaimed Material, Ref.: FSC-STD-40-007, v. 1.0
This certification acknowledges that systems are in place to credit the fiber that comes from recycled sources and apply it to FSC Recycled PB Shipments.
