New TemStock-Free from Temple-Inland offers designers, specifiers and manufacturers a premium particleboard choice with formaldehyde emission levels so low as to be indiscernible from levels found throughout nature. In addition, TemStock-Free meets the Environmentally Preferable Product (EPP) specification CPA 3-08 requiring 100% recycled/recovered fiber content. That means TemStock-Free delivers a strong combination of green-building benefits that can contribute toward points in both LEED and Green Globe rating systems.

Recycled Content Certification
TemStock-Free is certified by the Composite Panel Association (CPA) to comply to their Environmentally Preferable Product (EPP) specification CPA 3-08. This certification verifies that all TemStock-Free particleboard produced by Temple-Inland contains 100% recycled and/or recovered fiber.
Particleboard produced at Temple-Inland's Monroeville, Alabama, Hope, Arkansas, Thomson, Georgia, and Diboll, Texas, facilities that is certified to conform to the requirements of Forest Stewardship Council™ standards for Chain of Custody, Controlled Wood and Reclaimed Material manufacturing is available by special order.

Formaldehyde Emissions:
Large chamber air sample testing is done per ASTM E1333-96 (2002). This assures TemStock-Free’s conformance is superior to the ANSI 208.1-2009 upper limit of 0.09-ppm in Section 3.4. (TemStock-Free's emission levels are a fraction of those allowed in ANSI 208.1-2009).
