Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) has awarded certification to EnduraSiding based on the use of recovered and recycled materials in the manufacture of the engineered wood product. EnduraSiding produced at Temple-Inland’s Diboll, Texas fiber products operation has been certified to contain at least 95% recycled pre-consumer wood fiber on a dry weight basis
Our engineered wood products are created from the reclaimed residue of several sawmills. That not only keeps materials out of landfills, but also helps us achieve maximum usability from every tree that is harvested.

SCS is an independent third-party certifier. SCS was established in 1984 as the nation’s first third-party certifier for testing pesticide residues in fresh produce. In the past 15 years, the company has evolved to become a certifier of multiple facets of the food industry and of the environmentally sound management of forests, marine habitats and a wide variety of businesses.
