- How is TrimCraft cut?How is TrimCraft cut?:Best results are obtained with a fine-toothed saw. When using a portable power saw, measure on the back side and cut with the desired face side down. With a miter saw or hand saw, cut with the desired face side up.
- How should TrimCraft be fastened?How should TrimCraft be fastened?:TrimCraft should be attached with corrosion-resistant nails or screws. Nails should be long enough to penetrate the solid wood framing behind at least 1-1/2". Screws should penetrate 1" into the framing. - Should TrimCraft be painted?Should TrimCraft be painted?:Yes, the factory-applied primer is not a finish coat. An exterior-grade top coat should be applied within 90 days after installation.

Where the factory primer film is broken and the wood fiber substrate is exposed, spot priming with an oil-based exterior is recommended. For best performance, field-cut ends should be primed before final installation.
